Text Box: What an exciting time here at Mounds Baptist Church  Within the past few months we have begun to experience new excitement within our church.  We are seeing this numerically as well as financially.  As we have held new outreach events, we have seen God bless us with more visitors  entering our building than ever before.  As we begin this process of change from one model to another, our focus; our goals; our ways of doing things; our ways of thinking, our ways of touching those around us, also change.  As we begin this time of change, we are seeking God’s help, guidance, wisdom, strength and ask that you also lift the pastor, elders, and staff up in your prayers.  We want to follow God’s leading in all that we do.    Psalms 127:1 says “Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labor in vain”.        We have begun looking at many of the things we have done in the past asking: what is the  purpose or goal of this?  How does this fit with our  purposes and goals?  Do changes need to be made?  What changes need to be made?  One of those changes has been our website.  You will see as things begin to evolve with the outreach and events they will be conveyed here on the website.  We hope you will enjoy your visit here, and if you are searching for a church, we invite you to come visit us here at Mounds Baptist Church.                                                 A pastor who loves you,                                                   Steve
