Choir practice will soon be starting with some exciting new changes. 

Adult Choir will now be known as the Worship Choir.  Jr. High as well as Sr. High

will be eligible to join the Worship Choir.  If you know someone who might be 

interested but hasn't participated in our teen or adult choir before, be sure and

let Tammy know.  You may also have them contact Tammy before coming to practice. 

This way we can have a get acquainted meeting that will help all of us get started off with helpful information necessary for being part of the choir.  Other changes to expect in choir this year:

 

Time: Practice will be from 5:00 to 6:15PM on the 1st & 2nd Sunday evenings of

each month.  (We will plan to sing in the Sunday morning service on the 3rd  &  4th Sundays.)

 

Place:  Practice will take place in the church sanctuary.  Just stop by the choir room, pick

up the box of music with your name and then head up to the Sanctuary.  Our sound guys will be joining us as well!

 

Warm up:  Sunday warm up on the mornings that we sing will move to 8:45 AM in order

to allow us to practice in the sanctuary and not interfere with prayer time.

 

Music:  Most of our music will be worship songs of various style.  We will also work on some special music pieces.

 

Some things that will not change?  A wonderful opportunity to serve our wonderful Savior.  Great people to serve with.  Lots of fun and who knows...we may even figure out a way to still get our CANDY!  Any Questions?  Please just ask!  See you soon.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mounds Puppet Team Ministries

Christmas is coming

and we want everyone to be part of this year’s exciting

“Twas the Night Before” program.

If you wanted to be part of the puppet team and didn’t know when to get involved,

NOW is the time.  We want everyone to have the opportunity to learn a unique way to

spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and share with young and old alike.

There will be our own team “mentors” to help you every step of the way. 

There is fun and fellowship while learning how we can use our unique gifts to be a

blessing to others.  Come join us at 6:30 –7:30 PM
