Our church offers courses called R & R.  Real people. Real answers. We live in a society where information is overwhelming.  We believe that it is helpful to have a structure that provides a non threatening forum where you can listen to others ask questions while having the opportunity to ask your questions as well. This school type environment runs on semesters just like any other school however, we do not have exams. Each semester runs for about three months and. holiday breaks are taken. Each class has a group learning style.  Each group will learn together God's principles for living well.  There are several topics, serving a variety of interests. This is a great opportunity to meet new people and learn about how God has real answers for real people.  Each class will meet once a week on different days and times so you have options from which to choose. All of this in a class size of 15 to 25 people.

SM 411 “James Study” Meets in FLC Room #2

Leadership Team – Mark Bishop, Donna Kimmerling, Kathy Bishop

There are 5 “simple to understand” chapters in the Bible that outline how a person can be mature in their faith and handle anything this world throws at them. If you’d like to be “that person”,   join us for 8 weeks and walk with us in that direction as we study the book of James.


SM 412 “Life’s a Picnic!?” Meets in FLC Room #3

Everyone loves a picnic, right? Well, even picnics can get ants or rain. Life can be like that too. Come learn straight from the Master Teacher – Jesus! We’ll be studying together about the ups and downs that Jesus experienced in His life on earth and what He has to say to us in some of the most powerful teaching of His ministry-The Sermon on the Mount. We’ll literally go on a picnic with Jesus every week and spread our blanket at His feet and learn-discovering what Jesus has to say about overcoming temptation, dealing with relationships, finding happiness, and much ,much more. We’ll go from the desert to the mountain top as we discover God’s lessons for life’s questions. Join us as together we soak up the Son’s rays!



SM 414 “Life  Lessons” Meets in Basement Youth Room

Teens are constantly faced with life-changing decisions in their relationships and faith. In this semester, we will be looking at Biblical principles to help make wise choices in a chaotic culture.   (For Jr and Sr High Youth only)

This class will reveal a portrait of the life of David utilizing
the Bible, video, handouts, and lots of class interaction. David
has been described as “a man after God’s own heart.” Come and see
what we can learn together from David’s life of victory and
failure, courage and fears in his journey from shepherd to
King.
